Internal Transfers (Usertransfer)

What is an Internal Transfer?

An internal transfer is when a domain is moved within the CentralNic Reseller system from one reseller to another. It is also called a "usertransfer".

There is no transfer on the registry side, therefore registry procedures do not apply.

Types of Internal Transfers?

Internal transfers can be requested with or without auth-code.

  • If requested with auth-code, the current reseller can deny explicitly, otherwise the transfer will be completed successfully on the sixth (6) day.
  • If requested without auth-code, the current reseller has to approve explicitly, otherwise the transfer will fail on the sixth (6) day.
  • If the losing reseller approves explicitly, the transfer is completed immediately.
  • If set, a domain's transfer-mode will work as an explicit approval or denial.
