2FA (two-factor authentication)

Enabling 2FA on your CentralNic Reseller account couldn't be easier. Please follow the steps below to enable this on your primary account and your subaccounts.


Please note: each account will need to login and action these steps - enabling 2FA your primary account will not automatically tricle down to any subaccount you have configured.


  1. Login to your CentralNic Reseller Account Here
  2. Navigate and click on your profile drop-down (top right-hand corner)  Screenshot_2023-03-27_at_09.30.48.png
  3. Click on 'Passwords & Security'
  4. Once the page re-loads, you will now see the profile 'Two-factor Authentication' settingsScreenshot_2023-03-27_at_09.36.51.png
  5. Before moving to the next step, please have your 2FA App open and ready. You can use Google Authentication (click here for IOS and here for Andriod) or Authy (see here)
  6. Once you have your 2FA app open and ready, click on 'Enable Two-Factor Authentication'

  8. Scan the QR code into your 2FA app, and enter the code displayed in the App, then click 'Activate'
  9. You will now see a status update below once enabledScreenshot_2023-03-27_at_10.17.19.png
  10. Your 2FA settings will also be updated to reflect the enabled-statusScreenshot_2023-03-27_at_10.17.30.png
  11. Please securely write down your Emergency Code above, which will allow one-time use if your 2FA app stops working
  12. Please contact support if you have ongoing login issues with your 2FA app, need resets or require further clarification on the above.
